Speaker Bios:

Dr. Robert Sheeler is a Family Medicine Physician practicing Integrative and Functional Medicine in Scottsdale, AZ. He received Chemistry and Biology degrees with honors from Grinnell College in Iowa and attended the University of California at San Diego for Medical School. He practiced at Mayo Clinic for over 20 years during which time he was Clinical Practice Chair for the Department of Family Medicine, Chair of the Neuropsychiatric Medicine Group, and Medical Editor of the Mayo Clinic Health Letter in addition to being Associate Professor teaching Pharmacology at Mayo Medical School.  Certified as a Headache Subspecialist by the United Council of Neurologic Subspecialties and certified in Functional Medicine by the Institute for Functional Medicine, he has also been Board Certified in Integrative Medicine.

Dr. Stephen Sinatra is one of the most highly respected and sought-after cardiologists and anti-aging specialists whose integrative approach has revitalized patients with even the most advanced forms of illness. Sinatra began his 40+ year career as an attending physician at Manchester Memorial Hospital in Connecticut where he then went on to serve as Chief of Cardiology, Director of Medical Education, Director of Echocardiography, Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation, and director of the hospital’s weight reducing program. Sinatra is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and American College of Nutrition (FACN), a Certified Nutrition Specialist with the American Nutrition Association (CNS), and a Certified Bioenergetic Psychotherapist (CBT). Sinatra is a best-selling author of more than a dozen books, including The Great Cholesterol Myth, Reversing Heart Disease Now, The CoQ10 Phenomenon, and Metabolic Cardiology. He has also contributed to numerous peer-reviewed medical journals including The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) and has been researching the many benefits and applications of Coenzyme Q10 since the 1980s.

Erik Nelson, ND is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and a graduate of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, AZ. He received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology at the University of New England in Maine. During his time at SCNM, Erik was a core member of the research department at the SCNM Center for Integrative Naturopathic Research as well as an external collaborator at Arizona State University’s Biodesign Institute, Department of Infectious Disease. He has published and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed research articles and case studies in topics spanning Sports Medicine, Virology, Botanical Medicine, Dermatology, and Infectious Disease. Dr. Nelson utilizes the full scope of naturopathic medicine in clinical practice with an emphasis on General Naturopathic Medicine, Naturopathic Sports Medicine, Nutrition and Diet Counseling, Nutritional Ergogenic Aids and Botanical Medicine. In 2018, Dr. Nelson was appointed by New Hampshire’s governor to the New Hampshire Naturopathic Board of Examiners, the state’s medical licensing board for Naturopathic doctors. Dr. Nelson currently practices naturopathic medicine in Wolfeboro, NH.
