Kristen joined the AIHM team in April 2014 and holds a BAS in Public Health from the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) where she was selected Public Health Education Major of the Year. During her time at UMD she traveled to Italy to study the relationship between art and health and Hawaii to learn about holistic healing practices, which solidified her interest in integrative health.
Kristen considers herself a lifelong learner and is passionate about bringing others together to connect, learn and collaborate. In her role as Conference Manager she oversees the planning and execution of AIHM’s annual gathering, which brings together over 1000 integrative healers, researchers and public health professionals from all backgrounds to transform health care.
She is currently working toward becoming a Certified Meeting Planner and hopes to continue planning transformative events with purpose for years to come.
When she’s not deep in a planning spreadsheet or selecting healthy menus for an upcoming event, you can find her spending time in nature, traveling to new places, or taking photos of wildlife.
