AIHM Member Database:
ABIHM Physician Database:
ABIHM Diplomates are tagged accordingly in AIHM provider search tools.
Physician Diplomates of the ABIHM have achieved an established standard for knowledge in integrative holistic medicine through a psychometrically validated examination. The AIHM does not screen physicians beyond the qualifications to sit for its examination, does not verify the information posted by physicians in their profile nor does it monitor the practices or history of its physician Diplomates. AIHM cannot provide further information beyond what each physician publishes for use on the AIHM profile. Patients are responsible for choosing their own physicians. ABIHM makes no representation other than that the physician Diplomate has qualified for and passed the examination. Those searching the database should always conduct their own due diligence and evaluation of proper fit prior to engaging any physician for services. Patients should consider board certification as only one factor in selecting a physician. Board certification alone does not necessarily indicate competence in areas required by a patient or compatibility. There is considerable variation among integrative physicians in the methods used to diagnose and treat patients. ABIHM expressly disclaims any warranty or liability with regard to a Diplomate’s listing in this database.
Educational and General Content:
AIHM does not offer advice regarding the quality or suitability of any particular physician for specific treatments or health conditions, and no information on this site should be construed as health or medical advice. Information provided on the AIHM website is for informational purposes only, and is not intended to substitute for medical advice delivered in person by a licensed professional. AIHM provides users with online medical information that is intended to be for general informational purposes and is in no way intended to create a physician–patient relationship. Standards of care in medicine may be subject to professional differences of opinion, and because AIHM provides training and materials that reflect holistic, integrative, functional, complementary or alternative approaches to care, the materials presented may not be accepted by regulatory agencies, professional associations or other medical institutions. Third-party payors of care, including Medicare or private insurance companies may not reimburse or consider care that is believed to be appropriate care by AIHM.
The views expressed on the AIHM Blog represent the opinion of each author, and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the AIHM, its members or its Directors. AIHM does not screen postings for clinical accuracy, the digital safety of any links provided, or for the inclusion of copyrighted content, and each author is responsible for the clinical accuracy and legal right to materials they post. Users should conduct their own due diligence in relying upon any blog materials and take adequate precautions for the digital security of any posted links. Blog postings and their use are subject to all of the Terms of Service.

Neither the AIHM nor its principals, any individual associated with AIHM, or any author of course content, articles, blog posts or other materials are responsible for the misuse of the information provided or of the content of any sites accessed through links on this website. Reliance on any information provided by AIHM, its staff or authors is solely at your own risk. This website and any of the links it contains are solely for educational, informational, and service and product description purposes only. No information posted or provided on this site is intended to provide any medical or other healthcare service. None of this information is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Visitors with medical conditions should receive medical care provided directly by a professional chosen after careful due diligence. You should not disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of information through this website. Always seek the face-to-face advice of a physician or other qualified health professional before making any change in treatment or discontinuing any medications.
While AIHM has made and will continue to make efforts to include accurate and current information on this website that it posts directly, this site and all of the content contained on, downloaded, purchased from and accessed from this website and its entire domain are provided AS IS for informational purposes only without any warranties of any kind whatsoever and is not intended to provide any medical, financial or legal advice or diagnosis. AIHM makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its contents. AHIM is not responsible for the contents, or digital safety or security of any links posted in its Blog. AIHM to the fullest extent permitted by law disclaims all warranties, either express or implied, statutory or otherwise, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement of third parties’ rights, and fitness for a particular purpose. We make no warranty that our services will meet your requirements, nor do we make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of our services or for advice given by suggested peer mentors. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from you or from us shall create any warranty not expressly made herein.

Neither AIHM nor any individual or practitioner associated with AIHM is liable for any damages resulting from the use of the information on this site. We are not responsible for the quality of medical care or for any financial or billing disputes that may arise with any practitioner you choose to engage for services, even if you relied upon the information about that practitioner found on this site. As a visitor to this Internet web site, you acknowledge and agree that any reliance on or use by you of any information available on this website or provided by suggested peer mentors or ABIHM Diplomates shall be entirely at your own risk. To the extent permitted under applicable law, in no event will AIHM or its officers, employees, directors, affiliates, partners, agents, advisors or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of revenues, profits, use, data or other intangible losses (even if such parties were advised of, knew of or should have known of the possibility of such damages, and notwithstanding the failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy), arising out of or related to your use of the site or AIHM content, regardless of whether such damages are based on contract, tort, warranty, statute or otherwise. If you are dissatisfied with any portion of the site, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue use of the site. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, some of the above limitations and disclaimers may not apply to you. To the extent that we may not, as a matter of applicable law, disclaim any implied warranty or limit its liabilities, the scope and duration of such warranty and the extent of our liability shall be the minimum permitted under such applicable law.

Under its current policy, the AIHM does not sell the contact information of its members, ABIHM Diplomates or e-learners. At the discretion of the AIHM Executive Directors and Board of Directors, the AIHM mailing list will sometimes be provided free of charge to educators or researchers offering opportunities that are perceived to be of broad interest to our constituents. In such cases, recipients of our members’ and Diplomates’ contact information are allowed a one-time mailing only. This policy is subject to change, and AIHM reserves the right to provide, and in some cases, sell its mailing list to commercial interests that the AIHM Board determines offer opportunities of broad interest to our constituents. You may inform us in writing that you do not wish your information to be shared with commercial interests and AIHM will take reasonable steps to opt you out of any such future releases.
